I have been a big fan of @RoyWoodJr since I first heard him on the Bob & Tom show back in 2005 but he is now a finalist in NBC's Last Comic Standing.  Now Roy has been doing comedy for much longer than that and you probably will recognize him from his appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Chelsea Lately, BET's Comicview, Last Comic Standing, Def Comedy Jam or you have seen his act while on Tour.  Click to see tour dates. 

I'm a bit partial to southern comedians (I live in SC) and as I mentioned before Roy Wood Jr represents the South, and does it well.  Roy comes from what is known as the "Dirty South" and that is Alabama.  A place where things can get so dirty they don't even know the price of soap. (For those of you who do not listen to old rap or are not from the South the Term "Dirty South" is not an insult.  It is a term of endearment made popular by either Goodie Mob or Timbaland).

At any rate if you go to Roy Wood Jr's website you will be able to see some of the awesome work he has done for the Troops of The United States as well as listen to some of Roy's hilarious pranks.  I used to prank call people in high school, I loved cd's by Adam Sandler & The Crank Yankers and I am telling you Roy Wood Jr is the best prank callers out there, go check it out.
